This November, join thousands for one of the world’s most powerful climate uprisings, as we stop coal exports from the world’s largest coal port at Muloobinba (Newcastle), on Awabakal and Worimi land and water.

In 2023, a 3,000-strong peaceful flotilla halted coal ships for 32 hours. When 109 people took further action and were arrested, it made global headlines—calling for no new fossil fuels and a fair transition for workers and communities.

Then came 2024: Despite repeated government attempts to shut it down, people power prevailed with over 7,000 people mobilising across 10 days and  173 people courageously stopping the ships. With 7,000+ media hits, Rising Tide became a global force in climate resistance.

Now get ready—2025 will be the biggest and boldest yet. You don’t want to miss it.
