“Coal cleaning” action at Bondi Beach

Join activists from the no new coal campaign in this ction at Bondi beach. We intend to do a coal cleaning demonstration to show our opposition to the government’s attempts to build two new coal fired power stations and show that there is no such thing as “clean coal”.

What to bring
• Your own bucket and brush
• white clothing to wear (with the more black marks over them the better so we can get the message across that there is no such thing as clean coal). You can buy white disposable overalls for about $10 at a hardware store.
