Thank you all!

Rising Tide would like to thank everyone who took part in the World Environment Day occupation of Newcastle Harbour. It was a great success. We really got the message across in a colourful, non-violent and fun way, and everybody who participated seemed to be empowered and excited.

We would especially like to thank: The Blue Mountains crew for before, during and after; Peace-Bus-Graham for being there and bringing along his flags and PA; the Newcastle Greens for bringing along flyers to hand out; Greenpeace for media and nautical support; Resistance for various pieces of equipment; Newcastle and Sydney University Mountaineering Clubs; Bec and Emma and Food Not Bombs for soup and bread; James for use of his tent; Marg, Sophie, Moz, Tim and Anna for photography; Everyone who came from far away, including the Upper Hunter, Wollongong, Brisbane and Wagga Wagga.
