Deep Pond 2

This is Deep Pond, on Kooragang Island. It is important habitat for
migratory and other bird species, some of them listed threatened
species and others protected under international covenant. The
Newcastle Coal Infrastructure Group propose to build a rail corridor
through it to get trains to their proposed new coal loader.
