The “Climate Future - Cool It” committee of the Community Environment Network (CEN) is organizing a forum about Climate Change.
Will our coastline survive sea level rise and what can we do about it? Come along and discover the latest. The Meeting will provide a forum for community awareness and discussion. Alex Sen Gupta and Garry Willgoose, Climate Scientists from Newcastle and NSW Universities will provide insight into the science and impacts of Climate Change on our region. Wyong Shire Council staff will give an update regarding the progress of its draft Climate Change Policy and other relevant studies.
A speaker from Cool It will offer examples of personal actions the community can take to adapt and reduce their contribution to climate change as well as explain global actions such as the carbon cap and trade system.
